Aftercare
- Rest / relax as much as possible after massage.
- Drink plenty of water - ideally up to 3 litres.
- Avoid stimulants - tea, coffee, alcohol for 24-48 hours.
- Eat light meals and snacks rather than heavy meals so your body can focus on eliminating, rather than digesting food.
- Areas of stiffness and tension can get worse before getting better. This is a normal response to massage and should subside within a few days. Drinking plenty of water will help alleviate symptoms.
- Headaches can be triggered post massage, especially if you are prone to these and /or migraines. Drinking plenty of water will help alleviate symptoms.
